- Featured on the UNT Veterans' Memorial Wall is a plaque that honors 10 fallen soldiers, of the 103rd infantry division, who were killed in action during World War II. The plaque was presented by former classmates in the Army Specialized Training Unit 3890, and has been on permanent display at the University of North Texas since 1997.
